Frank DALE was born on the "Old DALE Homestead, Section 27 Twp. 17, Range 20', 8 miles south of Ottawa, KS. He died in the General Hospital, Mena, AR.
Frank lived in Ottawa until about 15 years old, then went to CO with older brothers, sister and probably his mother. He worked as a ranch hand and miner in CO and lived for a time in Sacramento, CA. He became a barber there and came back to Ottawa where he married Alice.
Alice and Frank went to Cedar Falls, IA for a short time, then back to Ottawa. He sold insurance for a while and became a Methodist preacher about 1910. He was on a SE KS circuit and lived many places around SE KS.
In 1913, Frank and Alice made a covered wagon trip to Cabool, MO but went back to Ottawa the next year.
About 1917-1918, they moved to SW MO and lived several places there, and moved later to NW AR.
About 1925, they moved to Mena, AR, had a restaurant in a hotel and then went to a farm near Board Camp, 10 miles east of Mena.
